Chicken with Basil and Cream – Recipe and Cooking Instructions
Chicken with basil and cream is one of the many ways to prepare chicken breast, and like most chicken breast dishes, it’s both delicious and highly nutritious. In this article, we present a particularly outstanding method: Chicken with Basil and Cream.
Ingredients for Chicken with Basil and Cream:

1 cup of chicken broth

3 tablespoons of white vinegar

2 cups of heavy whipping cream

Juice of 1 lemon

4 chicken breasts

4 cloves of garlic, minced

3 medium-sized tomatoes, peeled and chopped

3 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh basil

How to Prepare Chicken with Basil and Cream:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the chicken broth and vinegar. Season with salt and black pepper and bring it to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low. Add the heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring continuously for a few minutes. Then add the butter and stir a little more until the sauce thickens slightly.
In another pan, heat a small amount of oil. Lightly coat the chicken breasts with flour on all sides. Sprinkle any remaining flour into the pan, then sear the chicken breasts for about 4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden.
Once cooked, transfer the chicken breasts to a serving dish (preferably a Pyrex dish, as it will go into the oven) and keep them warm.
Using the same pan where you cooked the chicken, add a little more oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, and chopped basil. Season with a little salt and black pepper and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Take the serving dish with the chicken breasts and spoon the tomato, garlic, and basil mixture evenly over the chicken.
Pour the cream and lemon sauce on top, followed by a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
Place the dish in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F), setting it on the middle rack, and bake for about 20 minutes.
Once done, remove the dish from the oven. Garnish with toasted pine nuts or fried almonds if desired.
