Chicken Pockets – Recipe and Cooking Method
Chicken pockets are a delightful dish originating from the refined traditions of Italian cuisine. Known for their rich flavor and unique taste, these pockets are a favorite at many family lunch tables.

How to Make Chicken Pockets:
Start by placing the boiled, chopped chicken breasts in a bowl. Add the pesto sauce, green onion, and cream cheese. Season with salt and black pepper, then mix everything thoroughly until the filling becomes smooth and well-combined.
Next, divide the prepared dough into equal-sized balls. On a floured surface, roll each ball into a flat circular sheet. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center and wrap the dough into a round pocket, sealing the edges tightly to keep the filling inside. Repeat this process until all the dough and filling are used.
Melt the butter in a small bowl. In another bowl, place the Japanese breadcrumbs and season them with a pinch of salt. Dip each chicken pocket first in the melted butter, then roll it in the breadcrumbs to coat evenly. Arrange the coated pockets on a baking tray.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the chicken pockets for about 30 minutes, or until they are golden and fully cooked.
