Ingredients:

Chicken Kudo Sandwich

For the Chicken:

  • 4 pieces of chicken fillet

  • 1 tablespoon of mustard spice

  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder

  • 2 teaspoons of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika

  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon of oregano

  • 1 teaspoon of ground coriander

  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin

For the Onion Mix:

  • 3 tablespoons of oil

  • 1 large green onion, sliced

  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 green chili pepper, sliced

For Serving:

  • 6 sandwich rolls or hoagie-style loaves

  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced

  • ½ bunch of shredded lettuce

  • 2 medium pickled cucumbers, sliced

  • Mayonnaise and ketchup for garnish

Preparation Steps:

Begin by slicing the chicken fillets into thin strips. Set aside in a dish while preparing the marinade.

In a deep glass bowl, combine the onion powder, paprika, soy sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, garlic powder, coriander, sweet pepper, cumin, oregano, and salt. Mix well until a thick, creamy marinade forms.

Add the chicken strips to the marinade and toss well, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Let it rest for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally until the chicken is fully cooked and its juices have evaporated.

In a second skillet, heat the remaining oil over high heat. Sauté the green onion slices for about one minute until lightly crispy. Add the green bell pepper and chili pepper, and sauté for another minute, just enough to keep the crunch.

Combine the sautéed onion and pepper mixture with the cooked chicken. Stir thoroughly and keep the mixture warm.

To assemble the sandwiches, slice each sandwich roll lengthwise. Spread a bit of mayonnaise and ketchup on the inside. Add sliced pickles, tomato rounds, and shredded lettuce. Top generously with the hot chicken mixture.

Repeat for all six sandwiches.

Serve hot alongside crispy French fries and a cold drink—either fresh juice or soda.

Bon appétit!
