Kit Kat Cake is a popular and beloved dessert that brings together the soft texture of chocolate cake with the crunchy delight of Kit Kat bars. Originally, Kit Kat was first produced by the Rowntree factory in York, England—and has since become a global favorite, now featured in a variety of creative recipes like this show-stopping cake.

This cake is perfect for birthdays, celebrations, and festive gatherings. It's rich in flavor, pleasing to the eye, and provides a solid energy boost due to its calorie content. Beyond the sweetness, this dessert also offers a mix of essential minerals—iron for blood strength, calcium for healthy teeth and gums, and fiber to aid digestion.

Ingredients (Serves 4):

Kit Kat Cake

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup milk

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 5 eggs

  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • A pinch of salt

  • 5 Kit Kat bars (for decoration)

  • 8 fresh strawberries (for decoration)

  • ½ cup chocolate cream or ganache (for filling and topping)

How to Prepare Kit Kat Cake:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla, and salt until well combined.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Gradually add the oil and milk, mixing until smooth.

Slowly add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Stir well until the batter is fully combined and lump-free.

Grease a cake pan with butter to prevent sticking, then pour the batter into the pan.

Preheat your oven to a moderate temperature (about 180°C / 350°F), and bake the cake for around 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely. Then, carefully slice it horizontally into two equal layers.

Spread a layer of chocolate cream over the bottom half, allowing some of the cream to extend slightly beyond the edges.

Place the second cake layer on top and spread more chocolate cream over the surface.

Decorate the top with fresh strawberries and press Kit Kat pieces vertically around the sides of the cake to create a stunning fence-like look.

Chill the cake slightly before serving to let the flavors set. Cut, serve, and enjoy this rich, joyful creation with family or friends.

Bon appétit!
