Ingredients for Stuffed Beef Steak Rolls (serves two):
-
500 grams beef steak (bifteck)
-
200 grams minced beef
-
2 onions, finely chopped
-
Salt, to taste
-
Ground black pepper, to taste
-
1 tablespoon mustard
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
1 garlic clove, minced
-
¼ cup water
How to Make Stuffed Beef Steak Rolls:
First, place the chopped onions, salt, black pepper, and mustard in a bowl. Stir well until the ingredients are fully combined—this will be your sauce.
Next, brush the beef steak slices with half of the sauce. Mix the remaining sauce with the minced beef, then let both types of meat marinate for at least 3 hours so they absorb the flavors.
After marinating, take each steak slice and place a spoonful of the seasoned minced beef in the center. Roll the steak tightly around the filling, then tie each roll securely with kitchen string to keep the stuffing inside during cooking.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the beef rolls and cook, turning them until they are browned on all sides.
Pour in enough water to cover the rolls in the skillet, cover with a lid, and let simmer until the beef is fully cooked and tender.
Once cooked, transfer the rolls to a serving plate lined with chopped parsley. Remove the kitchen string from each roll, spoon a little of the cooking sauce over the top, and serve hot so your family can enjoy their rich and delicious flavor.
