Chocolate Brioche – Recipe & Preparation

Ingredients (Serves 4):

250 g flour

25 g sugar

1 tablespoon yeast

A small pinch of salt

½ cup milk

2 eggs

½ teaspoon vanilla

75 g butter

100 g chocolate chips

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for greasing the tray)
Preparation Method:

Place the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a stand mixer and blend until combined.

Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla, then mix again until the dough is slightly sticky.

Cut the butter into small cubes, add it to the dough, and mix until smooth and well combined.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface, divide it into 8 pieces, and shape each piece into a spiral.

Wrap the dough pieces in oiled plastic wrap to prevent sticking, and let them rest for about 30 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate chips over the dough, place them on a greased baking tray, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
