Lazy Cake with Cream – Recipe and Preparation Method
Lazy cake with cream is a variation of the popular Western-style lazy cake. It is one of the simplest desserts to prepare, requiring very little time or effort, and is quite similar to the classic lazy cake recipe.
One of its advantages is that it can be stored in the refrigerator for several days without spoiling. It is also highly nutritious thanks to its rich ingredients.
This dessert appeals to all tastes, especially chocolate lovers, with its wonderful flavor and creamy texture. Because it contains fresh milk, cream, and sugar, it provides the body with energy—making a slice in the morning the perfect way to start the day with vitality.
Ingredients for Lazy Cake with Cream:
-
1 cup of milk
-
2 packs of plain (unsweetened) biscuits
-
4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
-
4 tablespoons of powdered sugar
-
2 tablespoons of butter
-
1 can of cream
-
Nuts for decoration
Preparation Method:
-
Place the milk in a deep saucepan over low heat and bring it to a boil. Add the butter and stir until it melts completely.
-
Add the cocoa powder and powdered sugar, stirring well until combined. Let the mixture cook for a short while, then remove it from the heat.
-
Pour the mixture into another bowl, add the cream, and stir thoroughly.
-
In a separate bowl, break the biscuits into medium-sized pieces. Pour the cream mixture over the biscuits, making sure all the pieces are coated, and mix gently.
-
Spread the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap, shaping it into a log or pressing it into small molds for individual portions. Place in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
-
Once set, cut the cake into equal slices and decorate with nuts, shredded coconut, or caramel sauce as desired. Serve with a cup of coffee or tea for a delightful treat.
Notes:
-
You may increase or decrease the amount of cocoa powder according to taste.
-
Butter can be replaced with a small amount of vegetable oil.
-
Eggs are not necessary for preparing lazy cake.
Enjoy!
