Vanilla Parfait with Kit Kat Chocolate

 

  • 1¾ cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 400 g sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 12 Kit Kat fingers


Method

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream for about 5 minutes until fluffy. Place it in the refrigerator to chill.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, vanilla, condensed milk, eggs, and cornstarch. Stir continuously over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. Take the chilled whipped cream and fold it into the cooked mixture until well combined.

  4. Break the Kit Kat bars into small pieces and gently mix them into the parfait mixture.

  5. Pour the mixture into small serving cups, cover, and refrigerate until set.

  6. Serve chilled and enjoy the creamy texture and irresistible chocolate crunch.
