Ingredients

Chicken, Beef, and Sausage Rice

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into cubes

  • 1 kg beef, cut into cubes

  • 1 kg sausage (hot dog style), cut into cubes

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional, to taste)

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp fresh basil, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 bell pepper (mixed colors), diced

  • 1 celery stalk, diced

  • 2 tomatoes, diced

  • 1 cup chicken stock

  • 1 cup rice

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Preparation

Step 1 – Cook the meats:
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chicken, beef, and sausage cubes. Stir and cook until browned on all sides.

Season with salt, black pepper, chili powder, thyme, oregano, and celery. Stir well to ensure the spices coat the meat evenly.

After about 5 minutes, add the onion, garlic, tomatoes, and bell peppers. Mix and let them soften together with the meat.

Pour in the chicken stock (or hot water if stock is not available) and bring to a boil.

Step 2 – Add the rice:
After 15 minutes of simmering, add the rice to the pot. Stir well and increase the heat until the liquid reaches the surface of the rice.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let cook for 20–25 minutes until the rice is tender and has absorbed all the flavors.

Step 3 – Serve:
Once cooked, garnish with fresh parsley, dill, or coriander before serving.

⏱ Cooking time: 55–65 minutes.

✨ Your Chicken, Beef, and Sausage Rice is now ready—hearty, aromatic, and full of flavor. Perfect for family meals or gatherings.
