Grape Jam – Recipe & Preparation Method
Grape jam is a delicious type of preserve made from sweet, juicy grapes. It is a frequent guest on breakfast and dinner tables in many households.

Ingredients

3 kilograms grapes (preferably seedless or with very few seeds)

1.5 kilograms sugar

6 cups water

3 tablespoons lemon juice
Note: You may increase the amount of grapes, but the sugar should always be half the weight of the grapes.
Preparation Method

Prepare the grapes:
Separate the grapes from the stems, discard any damaged ones, and wash thoroughly. -
Blend:
Place the grapes in a blender and puree until smooth. -
Cook the mixture:
Pour the grape puree into a deep pot. Add the sugar and 3 cups of water. Place on low heat and stir occasionally as it cooks. -
Simmer and add lemon:
Once the mixture begins boiling, reduce the heat further and add the lemon juice. Continue simmering, skimming off any foam that appears on the surface, until the jam thickens. -
Cool and store:
Remove from heat and allow the jam to cool. Transfer into completely dry glass jars, seal tightly, and store in the refrigerator until serving.
