Macaroni Pizza – Easy Recipe

Macaroni Pizza – Easy Recipe

Welcome to today’s dish! We’re making Macaroni Pizza, a fun twist on traditional pizza that uses pasta as the base instead of dough. The ingredients are simple, readily available in every kitchen, and you can use any kind of meat or seafood you have on hand — like chicken, shrimp, salami, or even leftover roast meat. Let’s get started!

Ingredients (Serves 5)

Macaroni Pizza

  • ½ kg pasta (any type)

  • Regular pizza sauce

  • Green bell pepper, sliced

  • Sweet corn

  • Mixed meat (your choice: chicken, shrimp, salami, beef, or seafood)

  • Sliced olives

  • Mozzarella cheese

  • Grated cheddar cheese

  • Mushrooms, sliced

  • Salt and black pepper

  • Olive oil

  • Dried oregano

Preparation

Step 1 – Cook the Pasta

  1. Wash the pasta briefly and boil it in salted water until soft.

  2. Drain and let it cool.

  3. Mix the pasta with a little olive oil, oregano, garlic, and black pepper. This will form the “pizza base.”

Step 2 – Assemble the Pizza

  1. Grease a baking dish with a little olive oil.

  2. Spread the pasta evenly across the dish to form the bottom layer.

  3. Pour the pizza sauce over the pasta and spread it out evenly.

  4. Add the green pepper slices, corn, olives, mushrooms, and some of the meat pieces.

  5. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top, followed by mozzarella cheese for that perfect stretch.

  6. Finish with the remaining meat, a drizzle of olive oil, oregano, and a pinch of black pepper.

Step 3 – Bake

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Place the dish in the oven and bake until the cheese melts and turns golden, covering the pasta completely.
